MAKING OUR CASE TO YOU
Staunton Jams has been rocking Downtown Staunton since 2004, showcasing local and regional talent to bring together music-lovers from near and far in this unique, community-funded Music Festival. A beloved local tradition of 22 years, with a brief hiatus between 2018 - 2022, our All-Volunteer Administrative Team has grown Staunton Jams into a three-day Festival featuring diverse genres of music from Folk & Americana to Rock & Hip-Hop.
Growth and development since 2022 include multiple satellite venues, competitive pay for performers, and an increasing focus on supporting other local humanitarian and philanthropic efforts. During the 11pm-8pm programming window at the Main Stage on W Beverley Street, we see anywhere from ~50-250 attendees for a single performance, during which there are overlapping performances at 9-12 Satellite Venues. Each of the satellite venues has a capacity from 49 to 250. At least two venues often reach max capacity for “after hours” programming when the free, outdoor music has concluded at the Main Stage.
We print a total of 1,000 booklets which are distributed during the week before the Festival, and are available during the festival at the Information Booth near the Main Stage.
