A Virginia-based independent recording artist with roots in Staunton’s music scene, Bobby is known for his work in hip-hop and underground rap. Join us for a late-night gathering of music lovers, dancing, and Downtown Staunton energy as the Staunton Jams party keeps rolling!

Christopher Janos
Christopher Janos is a songwriter, guitarist, and producer who has spent two decades crafting and performing music. He is the guitarist, frontman, and driving creative force behind indie rock band The Milestones. His musical journey also led him to co-found Sill & Glade Cabin, a recording studio nestled in the Shenandoah Valley, where he helps artists bring their creative visions to life. As a solo performer, Christopher offers a more personal look at his musicianship and songwriting, drawing on years of experience writing, recording, and performing. Whether onstage or behind the console, he brings a deep appreciation for authentic songwriting and the creative process.

Scotty T
Scotty Tiernan is a singer/songwriter and guitarist who has been performing original music for nearly 25 years. His sound blends energetic, fun pop with a foundation in folk storytelling, shaped by an eclectic upbringing of catchy hooks from Hanson, witty and irreverent storytelling of John Prine, and the emotional dynamics of the bleeding heart from Dashboard Confessional.
At the heart of Scotty’s music is a genuine love for connecting with people. He writes and performs songs meant to make you feel something—whether that’s a little more inspired, a little more excited about life, or simply understood. He especially loves the kind of shows where people lean in and actually listen to the words.
Equal parts fun and heartfelt, Scotty brings an energetic presence to the stage while keeping the focus where it belongs: on the songs, the stories, and the people sharing the room.
Madly Backwards
Madly Backwards is a rock band from Richmond, VA. Electric guitars, vocal harmonies, and deep grooves wrap you in the swagger of a well-worn denim jacket. They draw equally from indie rock, roots, jam, and psychedelic music for a distinctive sonic palette and then deliver thoughtfully crafted songs in a high-energy rock show. The band is built on the songs of songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Eric Sites. The lineup is rounded out by Alex Martin on drums, Matt Morin on bass, and Jon Rasnake on lead guitar with all members featuring on both lead and backup vocals. Along with a solid set list of original material, the band maintains an extensive cover catalog, all delivered with the band’s signature sound.

Best known as the frontman of Shenandoah Valley favorites The Judy Chops, Reverend Bill Howard brings a more intimate, introspective side of his artistry to his solo performances. Through original songwriting and acoustic storytelling, he explores the humor, hope, and beautifully complicated business of being human. During the pandemic, his online series, Reverend Bill’s Confessional: Music, Spiritual Guidance & Whiskey, blended original music, familiar favorites, and candid conversation with a healthy dose of irreverence. His solo work offers a glimpse of the thoughtful songwriter behind the showman. Whether performing solo or with The Judy Chops, Bill connects with audiences through musical versatility, authenticity, and a distinctive creative spirit.

We're a newly formed, 6- sometimes 7-piece band in Staunton, VA. We play covers and originals in the Rock, Bluegrass, Reggae, Country, and Blues genres with guitars, keyboards, banjo, bass, drum, and an occasional harmonica.
Corrie Lynn Green
The Corrie Lyn Green Collective is an Appalachian Folk Punk collaboration of all star players with heavy hitting lyrics from Corrie Lynn Green, Electric riffs from Bill Howard of The Judy Chops, Erin Hunter on violin of The Hot Mamas, Bill Bird on Bass of The Swivel Casters and Paula Rainey Benson on acoustic with occasional guest appearances. We aim to tell the down and dirty story of growing up and out of the holler life while keeping the root attachment firmly in the ground from which Corrie Lynn is from.
